Pavel Gurevich

Pavel Gurevich has a diverse and extensive work experience in software development. Pavel started their career at Motorola as a Software Engineer in 1999, where they developed and tested embedded software for CDMA Transcoder systems. Pavel then worked at Stericycle as a Java Developer, developing server-side software and handling software testing and issue tracking. Pavel also worked at Newark InOne as a Java Developer, where they developed E-Procurement applications using Struts and Hibernate.

In 2005, Pavel joined fastmobile Inc. where they worked as a J2ME/C++ Developer, developing email, instant messaging, and address book applications for mobile phones. Pavel then joined BlackBerry when they acquired fastmobile Inc., and continued working as a Software Developer, designing and developing the Visual Voice Mail application for BlackBerry smartphones.

Pavel further expanded their expertise at Nokia Mobile Phones as a Senior Software Engineer, developing mobile phone applications using various technologies such as J2ME, C#, JavaScript, and Node.js. Pavel utilized Agile practices such as scrum and pair programming during this role.

After that, Pavel joined Microsoft as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on Windows Phone app development and working on both client and server-side components.

In 2015, Pavel worked at Ticket Vault LLC as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for the full development lifecycle of the TicketVault software, collaborating closely with the product owner to clarify requirements.

Most recently, Pavel joined Shure Incorporated in 2019 as a Senior Applications Systems Developer. In this role, they designed, developed, tested, and debugged the DeviceAPI component of Shure Designer System Configuration Software. This software allows integrators and system planners to design and implement accurate audio coverage for installations using Shure microphones and devices, offering features such as online and offline design, routing, and configuration capabilities.

Pavel is currently working at 7Factor Software as a Software Engineer, starting in 2022.

Pavel Gurevich completed their Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, spanning from 1997 to 2002. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution, from 1992 to 1996. Pavel also attended Maine East High School from 1991 to 1992, where they completed their high school education. In addition to their academic qualifications, Pavel Gurevich obtained the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" certification from Microsoft in July 2022.
