David Wanner

David Wanner is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as Lead Data Scientist at 84.51˚ since June 2017, where involvement includes optimization and simulation challenges on the Operations Research team. Previously, David held positions as Senior and Data Scientist within the Data Science & Research function at the same company, as well as serving as a Teaching Assistant for Machine Learning at the University of Chicago. Notable earlier experiences include instructing programming and data science courses at Cognitir, and teaching physics at The Noble Network of Charter Schools. David's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Applied Data Science from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University. Proficient in tools including SQL, Airflow, R, Python, Linux, Git, and PySpark, David demonstrates a strong commitment to data-driven decision-making and education.
