Mike Colgan

Mike Colgan is an experienced professional currently serving as Director of FinOps at 84.51˚ since August 2015, leading a team that manages the company's cloud investments. Previously, Mike held the role of Director of Technical Architecture, overseeing a team responsible for infrastructure and platform strategies and successfully leading the consolidation of four data centers into a new greenfield deployment. Prior to 84.51˚, Mike worked at VMware from April 2009 to August 2015, holding positions as Senior Systems Engineer and Services Sales Manager, where engagement in IT transformation and developing consulting opportunities centered on maximizing customer value was key. Earlier experience includes consulting at Accenture as a Technical Design and Implementation Lead, financial auditing at Dullworth, Breeding, and Karns, LLP as a Staff Auditor, accounting internship at IBM as a Depreciation Accountant, and serving as a Financial Planner at D. Scott Neal. Mike holds a BS/BA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Kentucky.
