Tony Gast is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and research management. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at 84.51˚ since April 2015, Tony oversees a team in the Forecasting Center of Excellence, providing strategic support and mentorship. Previously, Tony led the Science R&D team in improving store demand forecasting systems while collaborating with Kroger's Central Store Replenishment Team. Prior positions include Director of Computer Science Research and Solutions Architect at Dunnhumby USA, where Tony significantly enhanced analytical environments and operations. Tony's early career included roles as a Software Engineer at SEI and other organizations, where contributions included optimizing data solutions and developing backend systems for scientific applications. Tony holds a BS in Computer Science from Purdue University.
