Lauren Barca has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and positions. Lauren is currently serving as the VP of Quality & Stars at 86Borders, LLC. Prior to this role, they worked as a Principal at LB Healthcare Consulting.

Lauren has also held various positions at UnitedHealthcare, including Executive Officer, Population Health & Quality, Vice President, Population Health & Quality, National Inpatient Case Management Director, Associate Director, Clinical Business Integrity & Solutions, and Clinical Quality Consultant, Clinical Process Integrity.

Before joining UnitedHealthcare, Lauren worked at TennCare as the Director of Managed Care Evaluation and Strategic Planning. Their responsibilities included reviewing and analyzing healthcare data and performance measures, assessing compliance with regulatory requirements, and conducting medical record reviews and audits.

Earlier in their career, Lauren worked as a Public Health Nurse Case Manager at Knox County Health Department, a Registered Nurse Case Manager at Helen Ross McNabb Center, and a Registered Nurse at Covenant Health.

Through their various roles, Lauren has gained a wealth of experience in quality management, strategic planning, population health, case management, and healthcare consulting.

Lauren Barca obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Carson-Newman University, where they attended from 1998 to 2002. Later, they pursued a Master of Health Administration in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Cincinnati, completing it between 2015 and 2017.
