Mike Walter

Mike Walter is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in information technology and DevOps. Currently serving as the Director of Information Technology at 86Borders since February 2025, Mike leads a team focused on optimizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices within the AWS environment. Previously, as a Senior DevOps Engineer IV at Launch Scout, Mike demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining secure software delivery pipelines. Mike's consulting role at MW Consulting involved a wide range of cloud services aimed at enhancing client agility and innovation. With a significant tenure at the Independent Purchasing Cooperative, Mike held various positions from Director of Technology for the Gift Card Platform to Senior DevOps Engineer, where strategic relationships and advancements in payment processing platforms were key responsibilities. Earlier in Mike's career, roles at 3z.net and Micro Center provided a solid foundation in network engineering and customer service. Mike holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati.
