Generally, 88 Aces have been established to provide good opportunities to qualified marine personnel and to contribute in boosting the Philippine maritime shipping industry. The company humbly started in 2005 with only two (2) bunker and two (2) cargo vessels. For the succeeding years 88 Aces become a tremendous success to its operations that provides the opportunity to collaborate with Global Seaways Group of Companies in cooperation with Optimum Marine Management Ltd. and Optimum Ship Services, Inc.

In October 2018, 88 Aces becomes the key player in representing Optimum Marine Management Ltd. and Optimum Ship Services Inc., in the Philippines by providing quality, medically fit, competent and qualified seafarers to its Bulk and Tanker vessels.
