Ryan McCormick

Ryan McCormick is a physician executive with over 15 years of experience in clinical development, specializing in oncology, neurology, and decentralized clinical trials. Ryan has served as the Medical Director at Genentech, where they revitalized clinical trial enrollment through effective collaboration with key opinion leaders and operational strategies. Currently, Ryan is the Director of Clinical Development at 89bio, overseeing phase 3 trials. Ryan also co-founded RemoteCare Education, a continuing medical education organization focused on enhancing healthcare worker competence in tropical medicine and medical mission performance. In addition to their clinical and leadership roles, Ryan has an extensive educational background, including a Master of Science in Hospital Administration from the University of California, San Francisco, and a medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
