Steven Altschuler

Steven Altschuler is the current Chairman at 89bio. Steven has also previously served as a Member Board of Directors for Adtalem Global Education, AsclepiX Therapeutics Inc, ImVaX Inc, Ziff Capital Partners, and Weight Watchers. Steven was also the President and CEO of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from April 2000 to June 2015. For their work at the University of Miami and Health System, they were named Executive Vice President and CEO in January 2016 and led the transformation of University of Miami Health System to a single license PPS exempt academic health system.

Steven Altschuler graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine with a Doctor of Medicine (MD). Steven then completed their undergraduate studies at Case Western Reserve University, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mathematics and Statistics.
