Michael Harris

Michael Harris is the founder and CEO of 89up, a global agency dedicated to supporting charities, non-profits, and foundations, a position held since January 2014. Previously, Michael served as Head of Advocacy at Index on Censorship from January 2010 to January 2014, managing various domestic and international projects and leading public affairs initiatives. Additional experience includes roles as a Political Adviser at the London Borough of Lewisham and the House of Commons, and as Director at PBM, where strategic planning and public policy development were key responsibilities. Currently, Michael is the Publisher and Director of The Lead Newspapers Limited, overseeing a growing portfolio of local and national publications. Michael holds a BA (Hons) in History and two Master's degrees in Modern History from King's College London.
