Gary Andrys

Project Engineer - Corporate at 8th Avenue Food & Provisions

Gary Andrys has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 1983, they began their career as a Final Test Technician at Unisys Corporation, where they worked until 1989. From 1998 to 2008, Andrys served as a Process Engineer at Food Systems Design, providing engineering consulting services to the food industry. At Cavendish Farms, they held the position of Senior Project Engineer from 2008 to 2013, focusing on the design and installation of capital equipment for processed potato products. Gary then worked as the Head Custodian and Technology Coordinator at Edgeley Public School from 2013 to 2016, overseeing maintenance, repairs, and the school's computer network. From 2014 to 2016, Andrys operated their own company, Andrys Process Engineering. Gary joined Dakota Growers Pasta Company in 2016 as a Project Engineer, where they designed and installed process and packaging equipment, and implemented continuous improvement projects. Currently, Andrys serves as a Project Engineer - Corporate at 8th Avenue Food & Provisions, where they manage capital improvement projects across multiple pasta manufacturing locations.

Gary Andrys attended North Dakota State College of Science from 1981 to 1983, where they received an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, graduating in 1996.
