Joel Dennison

Joel Dennison has a strong background in system engineering and administration. Joel started their career in 1996 at Decatur Public Schools, where they provided enterprise-wide administration of technology equipment. Joel then worked at Elder-Beerman as a Lead LAN Analyst, responsible for maintaining operations of Windows NT/2000 servers. Joel worked at The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. as a Server Technologies Analyst, where they administered ITIL products and maintained over 300 Windows servers. Joel also worked as a Windows Systems Engineer at Insight Global, where they played a crucial role in server migration projects. Joel then moved to TEKsystems and CDI Talent & Technology Solutions, where they worked as a Systems Administrator and Data Center Operator, respectively, in contracted roles for Alkermes. At Alkermes, they served as an Automation Engineer, coordinating server upgrades and providing technical support for control systems. Joel also worked as a Senior Administrator at HCL Technologies, contracted to Alkermes. Most recently, they joined 8th Avenue Food & Provisions as a Senior System Engineer.

Joel Dennison attended Anderson University in 2015, where they studied Integrative Leadership. Prior to that, they enrolled in Anderson University from 1991 to 1994, focusing on Music Education. Furthermore, Joel attended DeKalb High School from 1986 to 1990, where they pursued General Studies. Additionally, they obtained the ITIL 4 Foundation certification from PeopleCert in April 2019.
