Samia Javed

Samia Javed has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2007 and progressing to their most recent role in 2023. Samia began their career at the University of Kansas Student Recreation Services - Outdoor Pursuits, where they worked as a Lead Facilitator at the Adams Campus Challenge Course and as part of the Rock Wall Staff. In 2009, they joined Life Time Fitness as a Rock Wall Supervisor, where they created and implemented athletic programs for members and provided climbing instruction and customer service.

Continuing their career in HR, Javed then worked at Panera Bread in various roles, including Regional Human Resources Manager, Manager of HR Generalist, and Coordinator of Benefits, Wellness & Associate Experience. In these positions, they oversaw HR initiatives across multiple cafes, resolved employee relations issues, facilitated training, and monitored employee engagement platforms.

Javed later joined Tesla as an HR Business Partner, where they provided strategic support to five Directors and a large workforce, establishing relationships and driving process improvement. Samia then worked as a People Business Partner at Lyft, supervising a team and delivering strategic HR consultancy to executives and their teams.

At Syngenta, Javed held multiple roles, including Global Workforce PMO Lead, Employee Experience & Portfolio Lead, and Leadership & Talent Change Lead. In these positions, they oversaw the execution of Future of Work initiatives, developed strategic HR plans, and delivered consultancy to leadership teams.

Samia'smost recent role is as a Human Resources Business Partner at 8th Avenue Food & Provisions.

Samia Javed completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology & International Relations from The University of Kansas from 2005 to 2008.
