Joe DiMattina

Joe DiMattina has over 18 years of experience in the software development industry. Their most recent role was as President at 8-Bit Int since February 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at CyberPoint International from July 2011 to February 2018. Joe was responsible for designing and implementing platform independent C/C++ frameworks with Python bindings for the Federal team. Before that, they worked at Northrop Grumman for over 8 years in various roles. Joe was a Software Developer from November 2006 to July 2011, where they maintained and updated existing code while integrating new features for image processing systems in a UNIX environment using the C/C++ language. Joe was also a Field Service Representative from March 2003 to February 2005, where they administered both hardware and software support for UNIX-based networked systems and provided on-site support for deployed Marine units in Iraq. Overall, Joe has a strong background in software development, particularly in C/C++, and has experience leading teams as a President and working on Federal projects.

Joe DiMattina earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Lehigh University, where they studied from 1999 until 2003. Joe pursued further education at The Johns Hopkins University, where they earned a Master of Science in Computer Science between the years 2005 and 2008.
