Ethan Fan has extensive experience in the tech industry. Ethan began their career in 2006 as a Software Engineer and a CRM Software Implementation Intern at Fujitsu. Ethan then held an SQA Test Intern position at Symantec. In 2007, they became a Software Developer at SAP Lab, where they prototyped the first CRM app inside Pebble watch and demoed it at SAP Teched Las Vegas. In 2015, they co-founded Vimo Labs (StartX S2017). In 2018, they became a Software Engineer at Firework, where they created and led a mobile video creation tool, built a video transcoding infrastructure and pipeline, and implemented edge AI on mobile. In 2020, they co-founded Mixpose (Techstar 21). Ethan currently holds the position of General Manager at 9 Count, Inc.
Ethan Fan attended Thamassat University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Ethan then attended Santa Clara University from 2005 to 2007, but did not receive a degree. Ethan does not have any additional certifications.
