David Goetsch has extensive experience in network security and information security analysis. David started their career in 2002 as the Owner/Technician at DEG Computer Consulting, where they managed small to mid-sized business networks and worked on contracting projects for Dell and Insight. In 2005, they joined Timber Products Company as a Network Specialist, where they managed and maintained the division's child domain and implemented security processes and procedures. In 2012, they moved to 906 Technologies as an Information Security Analyst, later transitioning to the role of Network Engineer. In this role, they managed business networks within a 100-mile radius of Marquette, Michigan, configuring routers, firewalls, switches, and access points. David also installed and managed Microsoft SBS servers. David currently holds the position of Senior Network Security Engineer at 906 Technologies, which they began in 2016.

David Goetsch has an extensive education history. David earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where they studied from 1976 to 1984. Before attending university, they graduated from Racine Lutheran High School in 1976 with a diploma in Accounting and Business/Management.

Later, from 1993 to 1997, David completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the University of Phoenix.

In addition to their academic pursuits, David has obtained several certifications. David received the Network+ and Security+ certifications from CompTIA in July 2007. In the same year, they obtained the MCSE: Security certification from Microsoft. More recently, in March 2019, they attained the CISSP certification from (ISC)². Additionally, they obtained the Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) certification from Cisco in April 2019, and the CCNA certification in June 2007. It is worth noting that there is no information available regarding the month and year in which David obtained the A+ certification from CompTIA.
