Steven Ho (He/Him)

Chairman & Founder at 91APP

Steven Ho embarked on his entrepreneurial journey in the e-commerce industry in 1998. With over two decades of seasoned experience, he is a repeat entrepreneur boasting an impressive record of achievements within the internet industry.

His first notable accomplishment was the creation of two significant web platforms in Taiwan: ubid.com.tw, a C2C website, and bid.com.tw, a B2C website. This enterprise garnered substantial attention and was subsequently acquired by eBay Inc. (NASDAQ: EBAY) in 2002.

Not one to rest on his laurels, Steven went on to establish another B2C-focused company called Monday Tech. Under his leadership, Monday Tech flourished, becoming the largest B2C company in terms of both transaction volume and quantity in 2007. The following year, in 2008, Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ: YHOO) saw potential in Monday Tech and acquired the company.

Post-acquisition, Steven was invited to assume the role of General Manager for the Yahoo! Kimo e-commerce group, where he led a team of over 500 employees for three years. Despite the global economic turbulence during this period, which led to various crises, Steven's effective leadership ensured that the e-commerce group thrived. Remarkably, under his stewardship, the group's revenue doubled, achieving a Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) of over $1.5 billion in 2011.

Shifting his focus from 2011 onwards, Steven turned his attention to internet business venture investments and start-ups. In 2013, he founded 91APP, a company dedicated to providing Omni-channel Retail and Omni-CRM OMO total solutions for retailers and brands. With its significant success in acquiring thousands of brands as clients across Asia, 91APP embarked on a global expansion in 2019, inviting top talents to join its growing team.
