Chaminda Vithanage

Chaminda Vithanage has extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance and compliance. Starting in 2001, they worked as a System Analyst at Kingslake Engineering for two years. Following that, they joined Virtusa Pvt Ltd as a QA Engineer from June 2003 to October 2004. From November 2004 to November 2005, they worked as a Senior QA Engineer at eCollege. In 2006, they joined 99X Technology as a QA Lead and later transitioned to become a QA Consultant until 2012. In that same year, they were appointed as the Senior Director - Compliance & Chief Information Security Officer at 99x, where they continue to work.

Chaminda Vithanage completed their Advanced Level education in Biology, General at St Sylvester's College from 1985 to 1992. Chaminda then pursued a BSc Special degree in Chemistry at the University of Peradeniya from 1995 to 1999. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including ISO 27001 Lead Auditor - Information Security Certification from DNV in September 2022, ISO/IEC 27701:2019 Certified Lead Implementer from BSI in September 2020, and Lead Auditor - ISO 9001:2015 from DNV GL.
