Steven Hunter

Steven Hunter is the current CEO and founder of 9fin, a financial technology startup. Prior to 9fin, Steven was an investment executive at Babson Capital Management where they focused on European high yield investments.

Previously, Steven served as an ambassador for the Start Up Loans Company, a government-backed initiative to provide funding for young entrepreneurs. Steven was selected for this role by James Caan and attended the Buckingham Palace launch with Lord Young and representatives from the Royal Family.

In 2012, Steven founded the Bristol Law Conference, which brought together 400+ students from 19 different Universities. The conference was the first of its kind and secured sponsorship and high profile speakers, including Baroness Hale (Supreme Court Justice) and Lord Hunt (Chair of the Press Complaints Commission).

Steven began their career in finance as a summer analyst at J.P. Morgan in 2012 and later returned to the firm as an analyst from 2013-2015. In 2011, they interned at Credit Suisse.

Steven Hunter's educational career includes a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Bristol and certification from Forbes in Forbes 30 Under 30.
