Corey Black

Corey Black is a dynamic professional currently serving as a Powershift Intern at NV Energy, focusing on community outreach initiatives to promote energy conservation and provide affordable electricity solutions. Concurrently, Corey holds the position of Lead Recreation Assistant for Field Allocations at the City of Henderson, where responsibilities include resource allocation for sports organizations and generating significant revenue for Parks and Recreation. Previous roles at the City of Henderson include Senior Recreation Assistant, where Corey excelled in customer service and program planning. Corey began a career in retail as a Sales Advisor at Office Depot, demonstrating organizational and financial management skills. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, Corey has developed a strong foundation in leadership and community engagement since graduating from Pinecrest Cadence High School.
