David Baker

David Baker is a Scientific Advisor at A-Alpha Bio. David received their PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Washington, where they worked with David Baker (Protein Design) and Eric Klavins (Synthetic Biology). David's thesis work focused on the development of yeast-based tools using synthetic biology techniques for high-throughput screening of protein-protein interactions. Prior to their current position, they interned at Luminex Corporation and the Seattle Biomedical Research Institute.

David Baker has a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Washington, a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Bioengineering and Economics from Rice University, and a degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
