David Noble

Data Scientist II at A-Alpha Bio

David Noble is currently a Data Scientist at A-Alpha Bio. Prior to that, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at the Ingolia Lab at University of California, Berkeley from September 2019 to May 2021. There, they developed a statistical framework and analytic pipeline for the novel high-throughput sequencing assay CiBER-Seq in R using GLMs and empirical Bayes method, applied ML algorithms to elucidate protein domain enrichment in a novel protein tethering assay, supported ongoing efforts in the lab with proficiency in Python, R, data cleaning, statistical modeling, communicated methods and presented findings at symposiums with concise presentations and data visualizations.

From August 2019 to May 2020, David was a Fellow at the UC Berkeley Coleman Fung Institute for Engineering Leadership where they implemented principles of human centered design to research and design health tech solutions for marginalized communities.

David Noble has a MIDS from the University of California, Berkeley in Data Science as well as a Bachelor's degree in Data Science from the same school.
