Candace Irons

Candace Irons, CPA, CISA, and CCSFP has extensive experience in security and compliance, currently serving as Associate Manager and Senior Consultant for HITRUST at A-LIGN since July 2020. Responsibilities include conducting HITRUST assessments, participating in scoping calls, communicating with clients, and applying the HITRUST Common Security Framework controls. Prior to A-LIGN, Candace held roles at University Housing - UGA, Amazon as an Accounting Financial Analyst Intern, and KPMG US within their Corporate Management and Business Tax Systems divisions, gaining a solid foundation in client service, financial analysis, and accounting practices. Candace holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Georgia, supplemented by a comprehensive education at the Terry College of Business.
