A Monique Affair is all about effortless and colorful elegance. We are a dynamic collective of designers, planners, producers, coordinators, stylists, and logistics experts dedicated to creating heartfelt, highly personalized, and beautifully orchestrated events. Every celebration we curate is infused with intention, authenticity, and an unmistakable sense of joy. We believe events should feel as good as they look, seamless, expressive, and deeply meaningful.

As a full service wedding, corporate, and milestone event planning and production firm serving the San Francisco Bay Area, we specialize in transforming ideas into immersive experiences. Our professionally trained team brings over 45 years of combined experience in celebrating colorful love and crafting extraordinary gatherings. From intimate ceremonies to grand scale galas, we approach every event with the same commitment, thoughtful design, meticulous planning, and flawless execution.

Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that love in all its forms deserves to be honored, elevated, and celebrated without limits. AMA was founded on the conviction that all love deserves to be celebrated boldly and beautifully. In fact, we have proudly championed and celebrated marriage equality since 1999, long before it was nationally recognized. Inclusion is not a trend for us, it is a cornerstone of who we are. We create spaces where every couple, every family, and every individual feels seen, respected, and valued.

Our founder, Chanda Daniels, is a celebrated industry leader and national voice on marriage equality and inclusion. Her work has helped shape conversations around representation, equity, and celebration within the events industry. Under her leadership, our team continues to advocate for inclusive practices while designing events that honor culture, identity, and individuality. You belong here. Weddings belong to everyone. Celebrations belong to everyone.
