Roy Smith

Roy Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering within the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as Global Project Manager at A. O. Smith Corporation since October 1997, Roy has played pivotal roles in various capacities, including the Site Readiness Lead for SAP ERP Implementation and Project Manager for SAP ERP projects alongside IBM SI. Previous leadership positions include Director of Residential Engineering, where Roy directed efforts across multiple manufacturing facilities and managed a large engineering team, and Project Manager, overseeing product development for the Residential product portfolio. Roy's earlier experience includes serving as Vice President at Refrigeration Service and a Nuclear Reactor Operator in the UN Navy. Roy holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and completed studies in Human Resource Management at The New School.
