Bas de Groot is an experienced IT security and risk consultant with a robust background in cybersecurity and interim management. Currently serving as the Owner, IT Security & Risk Consultant, CISO, and CSO at BasicSecure since August 2018, Bas has held various significant roles including Interim CSO at Conclusion, Security/Risk Consultant at a.s.r., and Project Lead Security at NN. Additional experience includes positions as Risk Manager at LeasePlan, Interim Manager and Product Owner at de Volksbank, and Security Project Manager at NSI.
