Software Development Engineer at A Thinking Ape

Mackenzie Boyd has worked in the software development field since 2005. In that year, they began their career as a lifeguard and swim lesson instructor at Yavapai College. Mackenzie then moved on to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 2009, where they worked as a Software Developer, maintaining and contributing to a significant code base. In 2012, they joined yWorld.com as a Software Developer. Finally, in 2014, they joined A Thinking Ape as a Software Development Engineer, where they have worn many hats, including working on a data pipeline replicating MySQL tables to Google BigQuery, and on an advertising attribution and reporting system.

Mackenzie Boyd attended Northern Arizona University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science. Mackenzie then attended Simon Fraser University from 2011 to 2012, but did not obtain a degree. No additional certifications were mentioned.
