Michael Lucas has held various roles in the past decade, beginning with a Manager position at American Apparel in 2010. In 2012, they took on the role of English Teacher at Muang Thalang High School, where they prepared lesson plans and edited documents for Thai teachers and other school employees. In 2014, they became an Assistant Store Manager at Fossil Group, Inc., where they were responsible for audits, inventory control, shipping and receiving and loss prevention. In 2015, they joined Shaw Communications as an eCare Supervisor, leading a team of 25+ customer advisors to exceed customer service goals. Michael also held roles as Real Time Support and CSR Inbound Sales, providing coaching and training to front line agents and exceeding monthly sales targets. In 2018, they joined INDOCHINO as Head of Customer Experience, Manager of Customer Experience, and Customer Experience Team Lead, where they were responsible for the day-to-day coaching and development of a team of Customer Experience Guides. Currently, they are a Community Manager Lead and Community Manager at A Thinking Ape.

Michael Lucas attended Wilfrid Laurier University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Honours Communication Studies.
