A. Wilbert's Sons owns and manages nearly 120,000 acres across Louisiana and Mississippi, which includes bottomland hardwood forests, plantation pine timber, tillable agricultural property, pastureland, and commercial property. AWS is about more than just the land; our passion lies in conservation, cultivation, and sustainable growth of our natural resources. We are a family-owned company compiled of a highly educated team that consistently seeks innovation and strives for responsible stewardship. Our team utilizes their extensive education, experience, and relationships with industry leaders to provide expert agricultural, wetland mitigation, timber & wildlife, and land & mineral services across our holdings. We are dedicated to implementing best management practices across all service areas. Our goal is to provide quality land management by balancing ecological and economic considerations and growing our footprint to support future generations.

In 1848, Anton Wilbert, a young carpenter from Koblenz, Germany, settled in Plaquemine, Louisiana and bought land for timber to support his trade. Over the next century-and-a-half and seven generations later, AWS’s commitment to responsible stewardship and good business practices has given us credibility as respected corporate, environmental, and community leaders.
