At A2 Energy, our mission is simple yet powerful: to develop and operate a world-class lithium mine—the Shagbe Lithium Project—along with a cutting-edge beneficiation plant in Kwara State, Nigeria. Our goal is to support the soaring global demand for lithium (Li₂O), the critical mineral powering the world’s transition to clean energy.

We’re not just mining lithium—we’re driving Africa’s role in the global clean energy revolution. Our mission is to harness Nigeria’s rich resources responsibly, fostering sustainable economic growth, empowering local communities, and supporting the global push for cleaner, greener energy solutions.

Our vision is to become a global leader in lithium production, making Nigeria a key player in the global battery metals supply chain. Through innovation, sustainability, and responsible mining practices, we aim to fuel the future of electric vehicles (EVs), renewable energy storage systems, and other transformative technologies.

At A2 Energy, we believe in more than just extraction—we believe in impact. By collaborating with governments, private sectors, and local communities, we are building a future where Africa’s resources create opportunities, drive development, and power a cleaner, brighter world.
