David Ju

Process Development Engineer at A2 Biotherapeutics

David Ju has a diverse work experience in the biotechnology industry. David started their career as a Bioprocess Engineering Intern at Keck Graduate Institute, where they conducted data analysis and worked with E. coli cultures. David then became a Graduate Student Consultant at Boehringer Ingelheim, where they used simulation software to study fluid dynamics in bioreactors. At Takeda, they worked as a Quality Systems Intern and implemented data integrity controls for GMP forms. David also served as a Project Manager at Keck Graduate Institute, leading a team to develop a commercialization process for a gene therapy product. David optimized the electrospinning process for nanofiber scaffolds during their individual research project. Currently, they are an Associate Process Development Engineer at A2 Biotherapeutics, focusing on process development.

David Ju completed their Master's Degree in Engineering in Biopharmaceutical Processing from Keck Graduate Institute, from the years 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of Southern California, during the period of 2012 to 2016.
