Gregory Nelson

Gregory Nelson is a Senior Quality Control Associate Microbiologist currently employed at A2 Biotherapeutics, Inc. since July 2021. With a strong background in microbiology, Gregory has previously held positions as a QC Microbiologist II at Kite Pharma, and as both a Sr. QC Associate and QC Associate at Atara Biotherapeutics, where responsibilities included setting up a new Quality Control laboratory and supporting T-Cell manufacturing. Additional experience includes serving as a Laboratory Technician II at Microbiology & Quality Associates, Inc., leading environmental monitoring and testing initiatives, and as a QC Microbiologist at Agensys, Inc., focused on clean room environmental monitoring. Earlier roles include working as a Laboratory Technician at Monsanto Company, where tasks involved GMP practices. Gregory holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
