John Welch has a strong background in the field of medicine and biotherapeutics. John currently holds the position of Senior Medical Director at A2 Biotherapeutics, Inc. since May 2022. Prior to that, from 1995 to 2004, John attended UC San Diego, where they earned an MD/PhD degree. Their field of study was Cellular and Molecular Biology.
From 1992 to 1995, John Welch completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Molecular Biology at Brigham Young University.
In 1989 to 1990, John Welch attended Williams College, although they did not obtain a degree in Biology, General during this time.
Additionally, John obtained a certification in Medical Oncology from the ABIM Foundation in November 2010.
