Jason Lindquist has worked in the software engineering field since 1996. Jason began their career at Qualcomm as an Engineer and later worked at Mercury Computer Systems, Inc. as a Software Engineer. In 2005, they joined Biosite as a Software Engineer, where they developed firmware for the company's Triage Meter medical diagnostic product and associated desktop software. In 2008, they began a contract role as a Software Engineer at Teradata, working to resolve outstanding defects in multi-server systems running the Teradata Database. In 2011, they worked as a Contract Software Engineer at Manzanita Systems, where they adapted software to run on modern 64-bit hardware. From 2014 to 2019, they worked at JetHead Development as a Software Engineer, coordinating MIPS and ARM Linux driver development activity between several television set-top box hardware OEMs and a provider of entertainment via direct-broadcast satellite and broadband internet. During this time, they also updated set-top server software to deliver satellite and broadband content to a client over IPv6. Since 2019, they have been employed at A2e Technologies as a Software Engineer, developing embedded Linux secure storage and network solutions using Xilinx MPSoC systems-on-chips (ARM core) and Windows software interface to storage system. Additionally, they have held volunteer roles at Poway High School since 1999, serving as a scorekeeper, public address announcer, and assistant robotics coach for the school's FIRST and VEX Robotics team.
Jason Lindquist attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
