Tom Bauer has worked in the engineering field since 1986. Tom began their career at General Automation Inc. as a Senior Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for system design and board level logic of Motorola MC68030 based multi-user business computers. Tom then moved to Cable and Computer Technology as a Senior Systems Engineer, where they were the project technical lead and principal designer of a military aircraft mission computer design project. Tom then worked at Dot Hill Systems as a Principal Hardware Engineer, where they reported directly to the CTO and was responsible for formalizing engineering procedures resulting in the production of highly reliable mass produced, CM manufactured, data storage products. From there, they moved to QLogic as a Principal Engineer, where they were the hardware lead over advanced product development. In 2015, Tom joined Hexagon Metrology as a Senior Electrical Engineer, where they were responsible for analog and digital electronic design and system architecture of high precision 3D area scanner. Tom then moved to Myron L Company in 2020, where they worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer and was responsible for electrical hardware design of water impurity instrumentation. Currently, Tom is a Senior Hardware Engineer at A2e Technologies.
Tom Bauer attended California State University, Fullerton, where they studied Electrical Engineering. Tom then attended University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where they studied Engineering.
