McPhee's military background includes significant roles within the United States Air Force, culminating as the Superintendent of the 113th Air Support Operations Squadron. McPhee holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Military Strategic Studies from Norwich University and an Associate's degree in Information Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.

A2G can provide Airborne Surveillance for border security, maritime patrol, pattern of life analysis, Oil/Natural Gas Infrastructure Survey/Security, and anti/counter-poaching or wildlife preservation operations. In addition, A2G can provide Airborne Reconnaissance for actionable, real-time support of military operations. A2G's AGI services consist of the full spectrum of processes for optimizing ground, air, and naval elements to maximize their joint impact on mission accomplishment. The processes include joint force doctrinal development, joint force organizational development, joint training, and, joint action on the objective, including joint terminal attack control (JTAC).
