Lorena Villarreal is an experienced professional with a strong background in chemical engineering and education. Since March 2011, Villarreal has served as an A2LA Assessor. Prior to this role, Villarreal worked as a teacher for five years at the Chemical Engineering School of the Central University of Ecuador, instructing students in Statistics, Biochemistry, and Biotechnology, and also taught Food Process Technology at the Agroindustry School of the Polytechnical School in Quito, Ecuador. Villarreal holds a degree in Ingeniería Química from Escuela Politécnica Nacional and a Master of Science from L'Institut Agro Montpellier.
