A30 Express (or Nouvelle Autoroute 30 s.e.n.c), the private partner responsible for the Highway 30 completion and operation, in accordance with a public-private partnership (PPP) agreement signed on September 25, 2008 by Nouvelle Autoroute 30, s.e.n.c. and Ministère des Transports du Québec. We manage more than 75km of highway, including two major bridges (2.5 and 1.8km long), and one toll plaza. In total, almost $2bn CAD in assets. A30 Express is a general partnership of two internationally renowned leaders in the execution of this type of large scale public-private project (PPP): Acciona and ACS Infrastructures Canada. Acciona works in 30 countries on five continents, designing, developing, and managing infrastructure, energy, and water projects. In Canada, Acciona is particularly active in the development of wind farms such as Magrath, Chin Chute, Ripley, and Lameque and Aulac in New Brunswick and Amherst in Nova Scotia. Acciona is also known for its Deep Lake Water Cooling Project in Toronto and the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, British Columbia under a PPP. ACS Infrastructure Canada is subsidiary of Iridium Concesiones. Iridium has been around for 40 years and is part of ACS Group, a well-known conglomerate in the global construction industry and a world leader in public-private partnerships. In the road transport sector alone, Iridium has built almost 5,000 kilometers of public-private highways. A30 Express tasked Nouvelle Autoroute 30 CJV s.e.n.c. with completing the design and construction of the project. NA30 CJV is made up of Dragados Canada, Acciona Infrastructures Canada, Aecon and Verreault. Arup and INDRA are also having acting as strategic partners. We also count on our team one world leader in the integration Tolling and ITS Systems, INDRA, and one of the more active maintenance operators of North America, DeAngelo Brothers Inc. (DBI).
