Ben J.

Ben J. has a diverse work experience in the technology and entertainment industry. Ben started their career at Weta Digital in 2014, where they held multiple roles over the years. As an Assistant Technical Director, they were responsible for developing and maintaining the Manuka daily diagnostic report pipeline using Python, automating previously manual tasks. Ben also had the opportunity to act as a Junior Lighting Technical Director for various feature films, performing tasks such as IBL verification, light blocking, and light rig publishing. Ben also worked in the Shots ATD department, where they conducted R&D for models/assets and shots, tested photogrammetry software, and developed Python scripts for automation. In 2019, Ben joined A44 Games as a DevOps Engineer and later got promoted to Senior DevOps Engineer.

Ben J. attended Yoobee School of Design from 2012 to 2013 and earned a diploma in Animation (Advanced). Ben's field of study was focused on Animation.
