Richard Romer has extensive experience in public affairs and government relations, having served as Manager of State Relations and Manager of Governance & Public Affairs at AAA National from 2014 to 2019. Prior to that, Richard worked as a Policy Analyst for Councilmember Valerie Ervin and as a Legislative Analyst in the Office of Legislative Oversight for Montgomery County from 2009 to 2014. Richard also held the position of Research Assistant at the University of Maryland in 2005-2006 and pursued studies at the University of Maryland from 2004 to 2006.
