Tanner G. Way

Tanner G. Way, C.M., ACE, IACE, CiA has a robust background in aviation management and training, holding a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management and currently pursuing a Master of Science in Aviation Management at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, focusing on a collaborative project to enhance flight students' success, and as an Airport Operations Specialist II at Veteran's Airport, performing regulatory inspections. Tanner has also contributed to airport operations and communications at Southern Illinois Airport while managing social media engagement. Prior roles at AAAE involved advancing training and certification programs for airport professionals, with responsibilities that included course development and member support. Tanner has experience as a COVID-19 Screener at SIU Medicine, where patient screening was conducted, and as a Student Worker, where health information management and tracking systems were developed.
