Dave Lu is the Founder and Managing Partner of Hyphen Capital, where significant investments have been made in Asian American founders, leading a syndicate of over 1,000 angel investors to deploy more than $30 million into over 90 companies since 2020. As Co-founder and President of Expo, Dave Lu is focused on developing AI solutions for restaurant operators. Involved in numerous initiatives, Dave Lu co-founded Stand with Asian Americans and authored a powerful letter against hate crimes, securing widespread support from business leaders and public figures. Additional roles include Advisory Board Member for the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center, Executive Producer for the Emmy-winning documentary about Jeremy Lin, and previous leadership positions in marketing and entertainment. Dave Lu holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University and a bachelor's degree in Finance and Strategic Management from The Wharton School.
