Daniela Hermelin

Daniela Hermelin, MD CABP, serves as the Chief Medical Officer at ImpactLife since July 2022 and holds an Assistant Professor position at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, where responsibilities include co-directing the Introduction to Pathology course and overseeing the Core Laboratory Medicine Resident Rotation. Daniela is actively involved with the AABB as the Social Media Committee Chair and contributes to The Blood Project as a Board Member, focusing on enhancing medical knowledge related to blood health and disease. Additional roles include Social Media Editor for Transfusion Medicine Reviews, moderator for the #Blooducation Baristas Podcast, and previous Medical Director positions at Community Therapeutic Apheresis and SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital. Daniela's education includes an MD from St. George's University and a fellowship in Transfusion Medicine and Blood Banking at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
