Jack Hager

Jack Hager has extensive experience in laboratory management and clinical operations, currently serving as an MT(ASCP) at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center and as a consultant for AABB since February 2021. Previously, Jack held the position of Vice President of Laboratory Services at QualTex Laboratories from November 2017 to October 2020 and managed the Transfusion Service at OHSU from April 2016 to November 2017, contributing to healthcare excellence and clinical research. Jack's earlier roles included Director of Testing and Production at the American Red Cross National Testing Laboratory, where significant operational realignment occurred, and leadership in the USAF Reserve, culminating in the role of Lt Col, leading a laboratory team in a combat zone. Jack's academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology from the University of Northern Colorado, a Master of Science in Biology and Applied Immunohematology from Bowling Green State University, and specialty training in Blood Banking from Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
