Dee Moore

Dee Moore is an experienced professional in nonprofit management and youth empowerment, currently serving as the Manager at Boomerangs Thrift Store under AIDS Action Committee since November 2018, after holding various positions at the same store. Additionally, Dee co-leads the FEMININE EMPOWERMENT MOVEMENT SLAM as Co Executive Director and has been designing and facilitating workshops for youth-serving organizations since January 2018, focusing on identity, oppression, and liberation. Previous roles include contributions to American Repertory Theater and The Boston Foundation, where Dee supported budget management and program coordination, notably organizing Hidden Figures screenings for over 5,800 youth. With a Master's degree in Fine/Studio Arts from Lesley University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Social Work, and Graphic Design from Simmons University, Dee combines creative and analytical skills to foster youth activism and engagement in social justice.
