Beth O'Connell, P.E. began their career in 2003 as a Project Engineer at Spalding DeDecker Associates, Inc. Beth later moved on to Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson in 2009 as a Senior Associate. In 2014, they joined WSSC (Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission) as a Development Section Manager, where they worked until 2020. Currently, they serve as the Chief Engineer at Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works starting in September 2020.

Beth O'Connell, P.E. graduated from the University of Michigan in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Civil Engineering. Beth later completed their Master of Science (MS) in Environmental Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University in 2013.
