Chris Rende

Chris Rende is currently a Senior Software Engineer at AaDya. Prior to that, they worked as an Application Developer at Genisys Credit Union from July 2016 to July 2019. Chris developed financial software applications using Go (Golang), PostgreSQL, UniData, UltraData, UniBasic, and Pick Basic. Chris began their career as a Senior Software Developer at Compuware in August 2000. At Compuware, they were a Network Protocol Specialist for Oracle Forms, Epic (Healthcare), and Cerner over MQ (Healthcare). Chris also was involved in resolving high profile / top priority customer issues. Chris' skills include GNU C++, Linux, Eclipse, Git, CVS, Jira, Agile, and Scrum. Before working at Compuware, Chris was the IT Operations Manager at Central Transport from January 1989 to August 2000. At Central Transport, they managed a small team of IT staff and vendors for various systems. Chris also managed Windows NT servers and T1's that provided internet services to customers and employees, such as Web servers for 15 domains, Web Proxy services for 550 client PC's, Remote host access to four AS400 systems, DNS, Email gateway to the company's internal e-mail system, Web to 3270 host gateway, and Web to mainframe DB2 ODBC gateway via MS SNA server.

Chris Rende's educational career includes earning a BSCIS from Oakland University in Computer and Information Sciences. Chris has also earned certifications from Coursera in Concurrency in Go, Functions, Methods, and Interfaces in Go, and Getting Started with Go.

They work with William Hexberg - Senior Engineer, McFranklyn Amaning - Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, and Stephen Desofi - Senior Engineer. Chris Rende reports to Chad Priest, VP of Engineering.
