Arnout Traas

Arnout Traas is a seasoned finance executive who has held CFO roles and served on boards across the agri, retail and distribution/production sectors. They currently serve on the supervisory boards of Heijmans and Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods, where they are chair at the latter. They also hold board roles at Stichting Pensioenfonds Campina and are the board chair of aaff. Previously, they were CFO of ForFarmers N.V. from 2011 to 2020 and served on the Supervisory Board of ABAB Accountants en Adviseurs from 2021 to 2024. They coordinate the Next Generation CFO program at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and earned the RA/CPA from VU Amsterdam, along with a DRS in Economics; they completed the Stanford Executive Program in 2001 and participated in Nyenrode Commissarissen training (2019) and EY leadership meetings (2019-2020).
