Michael Dr. Bitzer is an experienced CEO and board member with expertise in healthcare and health financing. They currently serve as a Senior Advisor at The Applied AI Corporation and co-founder of Strategy for Health. Previously, Michael held leadership roles at Daman - National Health Insurance Company and Munich Re, where they led various operations across the GCC markets. Michael earned a PhD in Medicine from The University of Freiburg and continues to enhance their education with programs at MIT Sloan School of Management and IMD Business School. In addition to their professional pursuits, Michael is an avid runner, cyclist, and cross-country skier.
