Carsten Jæger has a comprehensive work experience in various roles and companies. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Kleemann A/S, focusing on international sales and marketing. In 2006, they joined Novozymes as an Associate Strategic Account Manager, eventually progressing to the position of Senior Global Marketing Manager and later, Head of Global Sales & Marketing for Forest Products. In 2010, they briefly served as an Executive Assistant before leaving Novozymes.
In 2015, Carsten joined Coloplast as the Director of Global Marketing for Chronic Care, where they stayed for nine months. Carsten then moved to AAK in the same year, taking on the role of Global Business Development & Marketing Director for the Personal Care Business Unit. Later, they became the Head of Corporate Strategy, contributing to the company's overall growth and development. Finally, in 2022, they assumed their current position as the Global Head of Marketing & Product Management, Health & Nutrition at AAK.
Carsten Jæger completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Economics at Copenhagen Business School from 2001 to 2004. Carsten then pursued a Master of Science in Economics & Business Administration with a focus on International Marketing & Management (including Strategy) from 2004 to 2006 at the same institution.
